Thank you for your letter of 18 February 1998 concerning your experiences at the Kangan Batman Institute of TAFE and, earlier, at the John Batman Institute before amalgamation.

I note that you have sent your comments to the Director of the Kangan Batman Institute in the form of an employee exit statement. The matters you raise with the Director are very much an issue for local management which the Institute may choose to address in the context of an autonomous institution and as a participant in the training market.

I would like to thank you for bringing your comments to my attention. This Government is committed to an efficient and effective TAFE system and welcomes input from people like yourself.
